Parashas Vayakhel

Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas VaYakhel.Right at the beginning of the Parsha,Moshe assembles the Children of Israel to tell them to keep the Shabbos .This Moshe does , even before describing Betzalel's work on the Mishkan . HaShem wants to teach us that before HaShem comes to Dwell with us ,we first need to be a 'Kihel,' a 'Community,' of togetherness and at peace and harmony with each other ,for within peace and harmony , HaShem chooses to dwell. Once we come together and assemble together 'Vayakhel,' we can all enter the true World intended for us,the World of an Eternal Shabbos ,for within Shabbos,the day to put aside Physicality and appreciate the Spiritual Essence of all G-D Made and Makes , we find the true World which is HaShem and so,we can then dwell with and within HaShem .
Though the Hebrew word 'Vayakhel,' does mean 'Assembled,' the more common word to use would have been 'Assaf.'Why did HaShem use the word 'Vayakhel,' for the word 'Assembled?' The word 'Vayakhel,' has within it the words 'Ve Yah Kahel,' which means ,'And HaShem is a Community.' Here is one of the deep answers to the Eternal question of 'Why are we Created?' HaShem is telling us , that at the end of it all, no matter how far a person goes to the physical , they will always be a part with HaShem ,a Community with HaShem . The whole purpose of our task in this physical world , is to bring ourselves and all around us , to be at one with HaShem , to be a Community of One with HaShem for when we assemble together with HaShem , HaShem is (with us and all His Creation ) , a Community . This is what HaShem wanted in Gan Eiden and this is still what HaShem wants now . For us all to assemble and become one with Him as a single Community .
We know that this will be the case in Moshiach's time and this too,is hidden within the word 'Vayakhel,' for in Gematriah this Hebrew word (6+10+100+5+30=151 and 1+5+1 =7 ) adds up to 7 ,which is the same Gematrical value of the Hebrew word 'Mashiach,' which teaches us that in Mashiach's time,we will all assemble together and become a Community with HaShem . The word Vayakhel,' has a Yud in the middle which can refer to the future tense and the Yud can represent HaShem ,so within this one word 'Vayakhel,' we can get ,' And HaShem will assemble us ,' in the future . What will it be in the future? It will be an Eternal Shabbos so the Parsha has,after the request to assemble , the Commandment of the Shabbos .Then , Betzalel,a relative of Miriam , a 13 year old boy ,the son of Chur , who died trying to stop the Eirev Rav from building the Chait Ha Eigel ,is commissioned to be the main one (with Oholiav ) to build HaShem's Mishkan . This 13 year old boy understood what no other human being understood . He understood the true spiritual meaning and spiritual letters of every article that was to be built and so ,could see the Mishkan and its articles , from HaShem's point of view - the True World - and thus was able to ensure that everything was built just as HaShem wanted it .Here was one very young man leading an entire building project that would get the people to open up a space for HaShem between the two Cherubim on the Ark .Like Mashiach ,who will be a man that will lead all back to HaShem when all assemble as a community with HaShem following HaShem Only , at the time of the Eternal Shabbos ,as it was to become , had Adam Ve Chava not left Gan Eiden .
HaShem awaits closeness with each and every one of us . HaShem gave us the pathway to making this happen .This is the Holy Torah and Shabbos . To truly experience Shabbos , is to truly experience a 'Vayakhel'-'An Assembly,' with HaShem . HaShem sends us out into this big wide World and asks us to bring this World back to Him in Holiness . When HaShem gave Light in Creating Creation , HaShem , being all Giving and The Source of all Holy Light , gave too much Light , that we would not be able to cope with , so HaShem repeatedly had to take back some of the Light . Parts of the Original Light that HaShem gave at the beginning that was taken back , filter down to us on every Shabbos and this will be the case till Mashiach comes when the rest of that light will be given for us .Shabbos is the sweetness of Creation and the result of Creation at the End of Days. As we celebrate Shabbos ,we acknowledge HaShem as the Creator for His six days of Creation reaches its realization in appreciating the depth of spirituality of all things on Shabbos when we rest and keep from doing all the 39 Melachos that were also a stricture in relation to the Holy Temple . To keep Shabbos , is to bring HaShem to our World and become one with HaShem as HaShem's Community , which is to be done as HaShem Commanded .True Spritual rest is not the same as physical rest for only Shabbos allows us to feel in our own way , to our own capabilities ,a part of what Betzalel felt in truly understanding the depth of all things Created,for on Shabbos we can let our Neshomas enter into HaShem's True World where we can finally become one with HaShem 'Vayakhel,'-'Assembled,' into HaShem's Community .
The true essence of Shabbos can only be felt by keeping Shabbos , for by keeping Shabbos ,we keep HaShem within us and become One with HaShem .
May all Yidden come to Keep HaShem's Holy Shabbos and work together as a Community to bring HaShem back to us to be within us as HaShem wanted in the Beginning . May this World become a 'Vayakhel,' 'an Assembled Community,' with HaShem .
