Parashas Tzav

Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas Tzav. Here,HaShem Commands Moshe to Command Aharon regarding the Law of the Elevation Offering - Orlah- and also that an eternal flame must be kept on the Altar always burning. In this Parsha the Laws of the offerings are continued and finally the Seven days of Inauguration are set where Moshe officiates and instructs Aharon and the Kohanim on the service and Moshe inaugurates the Tabernacle and hands over the High Priesthood to Aharon after which,HaShem's Shechinah descends upon the Mishkan.
HaShem Commands 'Tzav,' that an eternal flame always be on the Mishkan. We as Jews have always looked upon an Eternal Flame as representing HaShem's Torah and our Souls that forever burn upward to HaShem . So what Is HaShem trying to teach us?
Our Neshoma-our Soul is often represented as a Flame that burns. HaShem 'Tzav' - ' Commands' us to keep an 'Eternal' Flame burning on the Altar .Thus HaShem is hinting that the Flame within us - our Neshomas , must be kept always burning .In other words , we are 'Tzav' -'Commanded' to keep our souls forever burning with HaShem's Light of His Laws - His Torah ,for HaShem 'The Eternal' wants us to keep our Souls Burning Eternally toward Him and with Him . Our Souls are in the realm of HaShem and it is only HaShem and His Commandments that can Light our Souls .It is only HaShem to Whom our Souls elevate, like the Orlah - Elevation offering that climbs to HaShem .
When HaShem 'Tzav,' 'Commands' us to keep an Eternal Flame , our Souls , HaShem refers as I said to keeping His Mitzvos - His Laws.Within the word 'Mitzvah,' is the word 'Tzav,' thus keeping HaShem's 'Tzav,'- 'Commanded,' Mitzvot, allows our Neshomas to burn Eternally .
So many throughout History have looked for the pathway to eternal fountains of life and youth. They have travelled to far away lands and high mountains in search of this secret .If only they would have looked within, for this secret to Eternal Life , has been in front of us all along. It is in the 'Mitzvahs' of HaShem's Torah Commandments .
HaShem Gave us His Torah 'Commands' - 'Tzavim' also to elevate us to come to Him . The more Mitzvahs we perform the more we elevate ourselves .
Keeping the Whole Torah is the secret to keeping our Eternal Neshoma burning as an Eternal Flame .
We are the masters of our own fate . Our thoughts and choices are what leads us .In this Parsha , thoughts are referred to as having to be pure when offerings are made and the concept of 'Pigul,' (which means 'rejected' and 'abominable' in Hebrew ) is referred to , for where one's thoughts are not kept holy while offering, where there is an intended intention to consume the offering after its time limit . It all starts with how we choose to think . Thinking becomes actions . If we keep a clean thought and ensure that our thoughts are Heavenward for the sake of HaShem and fulfilling His Mitzvos ,then our Neshomas will be on the right path toward HaShem .
We must 'Tzav' - 'Command' our thoughts toward HaShem's Wishes and let His Torah guide us back to Him so that we -'our Neshomas,' can join with Him as 'an Eternal Flame,' burning forever within us and lifting us up to be one with HaShem.
May our Neshomas forever burn within us elevating our physicalities toward our Creator with love .
With love to HaShem , I wish HaShem with love, a beautiful sweet Shabbos Kodesh with love and to all my fellow Yidden , a beautiful sweet Shabbos Kodesh with love .
