Parashas Emor

Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas Emor , where HaShem instructs Moshe to 'Emor,' tell the Kohanim the Laws of keeping from Contamination, first with respect to a family member that has passed Chas Ve Shalom and then the Laws of keeping pure as a Kohein and Kohein Gadol and how a Kohein must keep a completely pure life and how a Kohein and Kohein Gadol must be physically pure even with respect to the person they marry.Terumah is then discussed and the purity of Korbanos that are to be free of blemish. Then our Holy Festivals are discussed from Pesach to the Omer Count and Shavuot and Rosh HaShanah,Yom Kippur and Succos and Shemini Atzeres. The Holy Menorah and its Laws are then taught as well as the Show-Bread for every Shabbos. The Parsha then ends with the Blasphemer of HaShem's Name and the Blasphemer's punishment and the famous words of 'An Eye For An Eye.'
Throughout the whole Parsha, the idea of purity runs through it.
Though this is in reference to the Kohanim, this Law of purity must stand for all Jews as well.In fact , by the example of the Blasphemer, who was from a mixed marriage and was
still punished ,does also show that G-D Wants all of humanity Jews and Non-Jews to practice pure and modest ways of Holiness. The Kohanim are not to marry a Zonah, a woman who has either been unfaithful to her husband or been loosely physical with other men. This again comes out with the Blasphemer, whose Mother was Shelomis Bas Divri , where in her name it showed her character, for Shelomis is like Shalom meaning also 'Hello' for she used to say Hello to many men to attract their attention and get into talks and chats with foreign men - thus was she referred to as Bas Divri, where Divri is like 'Daber' - meaning talking or chatting. The result of such impurity led her to have a child with an Egyptian man , who ended up Blaspheming HaShem's Holy Name.
G-D Wants all His children, all of humanity to be Holy and act in Pure and Holy Ways. The Parsha starts with the word 'Emor', which means 'Say,' which certainly shows that all we say must be with the Holy Tongue G-D Gave us. The word 'Emor,' starts with an Aleph which also can show the future tense. Thus, the instructions Moshe was relaying was not just for then, but Moshe , through HaShem's Torah talks to us even today and tomorrow and forever and is still instructing us on being pure and holy.Torah, talks to us through time. It is written for all times and though people try to change It Chas Ve Shalom, It is just as valid today and tomorrow as it was when it was given. The more Torah is studied, the more secrets show at how far beyond us Torah is ,knowing already what tomorrow brings.
The word 'Emor,,' which as I said also speaks for the future, teaches purity to even bring Mashiach. This is in the word itself, for Gematrically 'Emor,' comes to '1+40+200=241' and '2+4+1 = 7' , the number of Mashiach and the Gematrical value of the word Mashiach.
Thus a pure World, can bring on Mashiach and the End of Days.
The way today's people conduct themselves and speak to each other is nowhere near the way we should be addressing our fellow man.G-D Created Creation with Speech and He Gave us the ability to Speak so we could Emulate His Holy Ways.To Speak otherwise is a great Aveirah and contrary to Creation. We may not realize how today's 'talk the talk' is such a big thing, but it actually sits at the very heart of whether we approach Holiness and return to the destination HaShem Wants Creation to head towards, or destroys Creation itself Chas Ve Shalom .
Let us always remember that G-D Paints the World With His Sweet Words and as we are partners with Him in Creation, our job is to keep that Sweetness of His , within the physicality of Creation .
G-D Made our Mouths to Speak His Holy Words.Let us not desecrate Creation with a foul tongue Chas Ve Shalom . We each have the opportunity to be His Malachim, His Angels to keep Creation pure, without Loshon Horah and without immodesty and sin Chas Ve Shalom . Such a Beautiful Creation of G-D ,certainly deserves us to keep it pure and sweet and holy.
Let us keep what we 'Emor' - 'Say,' pure and holy for when we speak, we speak with the very tongue, HaShem Gave us for love.
With Love to HaShem, I wish HaShem with Love a Sweet and Beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with deepest Love and to all ,a sweet and beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love.
