Parashas Devarim

Our Parsha on the Shabbos Chazon as it is called before the Fast of Tisha B'Av is Devarim and starts out from HaShem , Moshe's Book of Devarim in the Torah .
This Shabbos before the Tisha B'Av Fast is called Shabbos Chazon which has a deep meaning. The Hebrew word 'Chazon,' means ,'Vision or Prophecy,' for it is on Tisha B' Av , the day of our greatest sadness through history, that this day will be turned into a great Yom Tov at the End of Days .Our Sages say that it will be on Tisha B'Av that Mashiach's essence alights on the person who is to be Mashiach and so it is a day of Prophecy and Vision - 'Chazon' .This day of Tisha B'Av started on the day the Children of Israel cried in the Wilderness after hearing the negative report of the Land that ten of the twelve spies brought back. The people cried on that night and so, have our people cried at this time through the centuries for it was at this time on this very date that we lost our Two Holy Temples. It was on this day the Crusades started. It was on this day that the proclamation in Spain under ferdinand and isabella sent us Jews from Spain. It was on this day that the Final Solution by the nazis was signed to mass murder us in the Holocaust. It was on this day that Chmielnitzky in the Ukraine murdered hundreds and thousands of our people. It was on this day as Chrysler's Luach shows us,that Betar fell to the Romans and it was on this day that Yerushalaim burnt by Turnusrufus. It was on this day that so many calamities happened to our people in history.
It will be on this day that all the negativity will be turned around and HaShem will make it a day of feasting and joy in Mashiach's time - May that day come soon .
It is only with HaShem's words of Torah that we will travel toward this happy day to come , for it is only by keeping HaShem's Torah that we will become worthy of MaShiach and the End of Days .
So it is with HaShem's Words , that Moshe starts this weeks Parsha as he speaks to the people on the last days of his life.
Moshe speaks for HaShem and the 'Words' - 'Devarim' are for us and for our children forever.
We see that the first verse of this Parsha of 'Devarim,' has 22 words in it.This can also have a hidden meaning for the Hebrew Word 'Becha or Bach,' - which means 'In you,' and is a word that has a Gematrical value of 22 , shows that the words from HaShem that Moshe spoke , are to be within 'you' - within each and every one of us .
Moshe called all the Children of Israel to hear the whole book of 'Devarim,' - 'Words,' of The Torah that he spoke from the first of Shevat 2488 till the seventh of Adar 2488 , a full 36 days in which Moshe reviewed some of the Laws of the Torah and told of other Laws that HaShem Commanded.
We must remember that these were the last days of Moshe's life and unlike others who would choose to spend their last moments on themselves,Moshe spent his last days in service of HaShem and HaShem's people ,Moshe's fellow people , giving his last days , for his people and for his love of HaShem. There truly was no greater man than our very beloved Moshe.
Moshe starts out by saying,'Eileh Ha Devarim Asher Diber Moshe El Kol Yisrael,' - 'These are the words that Moshe spoke to all Israel.' 'These are the words ,' says Moshe, for these words that Moshe spoke, were from HaShem and HaShem's Commandments. The Word 'Ha Devarim ,' starts out with a 'Ha,' which shows that the words Moshe was speaking came from the Breath of HaShem as the 'Hei' sound is a breath like the breath of the Most High which gives life to all of Creation .'Eileh' - 'These,' show that what is to come as Words in the Book of Devarim, was spoken by Moshe in one continuous speech lasting 36 days. This is also hinted in the first word of this Parsha which is the word 'Eileh,' which in Gematriah comes to 36 (1+30+5) and shows that all these words in Devarim were spoken in the 36 days from Moshe starting, continuing and finishing.
We read that Moshe starts out with a rebuke. This rebuke comes from him 'Leshaim Shamaim,' totally for the sake of HaShem and Heaven to bring the people toward G-D for all generations. We see that Moshe mentions in the first verse that he spoke ,'El Kol Yisrael,' for Moshe here speaks to all of Israel, not just the ones who were alive at the time, but also to all Yiddishe Neshomas past present and future who were brought to hear Moshe's words and also to us today and always. We carry these words within us , in our hearts and souls.
Moshe was able to give a rebuke to the people as his character was pure and clean so the people would certainly more likely readily accept it.
When Moshe said to us 'Eileh HaDevarim' - 'These are the Words,' Moshe was also telling us to listen to the 'Daber' ' -'Talk / Speak, ' ,' (which is within the word 'Devarim' ) - The 'Talk of HaShem,' for HaShem always Talks to us and Calls us , if only we would listen.
Moshe is still pleading with us today - pleading with you and pleading with me to steer our lives according to HaShem and HaShem's Torah .This plea comes through Moshe directly from HaShem and HaShem Himself directly Pleads with us to come close to Him , keeping His Laws .
Every day HaShem gives us life so that we can live . It is only in HaShem that we can truly live for it is only in HaShem's 'Devarim,' - ' Words' that we have a purpose for living and can live , for true living needs a purpose - and that purpose is the purpose for which HaShem Created all things. Only going toward that purpose. Of HaShem - The Creator is 'The Purpose' - and is The True 'Living.'
Let us take HaShem's 'Devarim' through Moshe and ' Live.'
With sweet love, I wish HaShem with love a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love and to all my fellow Yidden , a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love and a Tzom Kal - May we all only know Good .
