Parashas Tzav

Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas Tzav . This Parsha continues with The Korbanos Talking of the Mincha, the Meal Offering ,the Chatas Sin Offering , The Asham Guilt Offering , The Zevach HaShlamim - Feast Peace Offering as a Todah a Thanks Offering ( for a saving , healing from an illness, or safety after a journey ) and the Consecration of Aharon and his sons the Kohanim and The seven day Inauguration Ceremony ,which is where the Parsha ends.
In the previous Parsha , a lot of these offerings were already mentioned, but in this Parsha , they are mentioned more from the point of view of the Kohanim who are to do them . The Haftorah , is Yirmeyahu 7:21-8:3 , 9:22-23 , and also refers to the Offerings and that HaShem Wants us to listen to His Commands .
This Parasha is called " Tzav " which means " Command ," for HaShem Told Moshe to Command Aharon and his sons about the Law of the Olah Elevation Offering that remains on the flame on the Altar all night till the morning, where the fire on the Mizbayach Altar was to be kept aflame on it . There was to be three fires kept aflame constantly not to be extinguished , which has a hidden thought for us that we must constantly keep our Neshomas with HaShem and work constantly toward HaShem , literally living constantly within His Commandments .
We note that HaShem didn't go directly here to Aharon , and our Sages say this was due to HaShem Still Being Upset about the Chait Ha ' Eigel and also, because of Aharon's extreme humility , for he might not accept the honor , So HaShem Asked , after Moshe had put in a quiet persuasion , for Moshe to persuade Aharon with soft words to take up the honor due to him . During the seven Inauguration days , Moshe acted as Kohein Gadol , teaching and showing humble Aharon , what to do . At first , Aharon did not want to accept , feeling himself unworthy , but Moshe persuaded him , reminding him how he , Aharon , was a man of peace, caring much for peace between fellow Jews and so , would be perfect for the task as Kohein Gadol , who would be in a position to make Sholom Peace , between HaShem and His Beloved People , through the Offerings people would bring to HaShem . So Aharon accepted the honor with humilty .
The first Temple Service of the day was " Terumat Ha Deshen ," - " Separating the Ash ," removing ash from the day before . We can learn from this , that each day that we start new , that HaShem Gives us , is also an opportunity for us to clear away the mistakes and wrongs we did the day before . Each day is a new Creation , that HaShem Makes the World anew every second , so a new day is a New Act of Love from HaShem for us to better ourselves and correct our Aveirahs .
We notice that in a Torah Scroll , the word " Mokdah , " has a small Hebrew Letter Mem , making the word look like " Akeidah ," a link back to Yitzchak who was prepared to offer himself to HaShem's Will.
In the Book of Bereishis , in Chapter 22 , when it talks of the Binding of Yitzchak , HaShem Refers throughout there , to the Offering of Yitzchak as an " Olah ,- " an Elevation Offering ," the same as in this Parsha of Tzav , where this word " Mokdah " - " Flame , " appears . The word " Akeidah , " is there in the Word , and the Small Mem , in Gematria comes to 40 , where , 4+0= 4 , and points to the 22nd Chapter of Bereishis ( 2+2 = 4 ) where the Akediah took place . Thus , an Elevation Offering Elevates the person to HaShem as did the willingness of Yitzchak at the Akeidah .
The Flame must be kept Eternally burning , as our Service of Offering ourselves to HaShem , must always be Eternal as must be our closeness to HaShem Always .
We notice that just after the Akeidah , when Sarah passed away , HaShem used the word " Veliv'cotah, " - " To bewail her ( Bereishis 23:2 ) . " In the middle of this word in a Torah Scroll , is a small Hebrew letter ' Caf ,' and when we put this letter 'Caf ,' with the small letter 'Mem ,' in the present Parsha of the word " Mokdah , " we get a Caf and Mem ( for all Torah is related ) , which spells ' Camah , which means ' to long for . ' So we are to long for HaShem , in fulfilling His Commandments and do all HaShem " Tzav ," - " Commands , " so that our service of HaShem , must be an Eternal and Forever Longing for His Closeness , via His " Tzav " - " His Commands . "
We are to be like an " Olah , " - " An Elevation Offering , " to Elevate ourselves as HaShem Intends us to , with each " Tzav , " - " Command , " HaShem Gives us , working each day to better ourselves more than the day before , correcting and purifying ourselves from the day before .
HaShem's " Tzav , " - " Command , " is there to Elevate us and bring us into the Forever Light of HaShem's Love . May we always look up to HaShem and Forever , follow His " Tzav " - " Commands , " working our way to Elevate ourselves at every possible moment and opportunity That HaShem Gives us , which is what HaShem's Laws Give us , with HaShem's Torah , HaShem's Gift of Love , to bring us ever closer to the Love and Sweet Light of HaShem .
I wish HaShem With Love , a Beautiful Sweet Shabbos Kodesh with Love , and to all my fellow Jews , a beautiful sweet Shabbos Kodesh with love.
