Our Parsha this week is Parashas Shemini . This Shabbos is also Shabbos Parashas Parah , so we read Parashas Shemini from the first Torah scroll and then Parashas Parah from the second Torah Scroll of Numbers 19:1-22 and the Haftorah is Ezekiel 36 : 16-36 . This Shabbos is Parashas Parah which deals with the Parah Adumah and issues of Ritual Purity , read as we approach Pesach , to remind us to be ritually pure at this time as Pesach approaches.
In our Parsha this Shabbos, which is the Sedra of Shemini , we read of the Inauguration Day of the Mishkan of the first of Nissan , after the Seven Days of Preparation which started on the 23rd of Adar , where Moshe performed every day the Avodah Service and put up and took down the Mishkan . Now on this Eighth day, in Hebrew ' Shemoneh ' ( thus the Parsha's Name " Shemini , " the Inauguration of the Mishkan would now take place and Aharon , would now start his post as Kohein Gadol and his sons and Kohanim would from now on be responsible for the Service and Korbanos . This Eighth day of Inauguration , when HaShem's Shechinah Came down in Heavenly Fire , This Beautiful Long Awaited Event , Gave the people much happiness that now , HaShem Had Forgiven the people to some extent for the Aveirah of the Chait Ha'Eigel - the Golden Calf . Aharon came and performed his first duty as Kohein Gadol and offerings were done to first tone for himself as one should , before looking to judge others .The Korban that Aharon took , matched the Chait Ha Eigel , and so Aharon had to first atone for himself and then the Community .
It was after this , that tragedy struck , with the death of Aharon's two sons Nadav and Avihu , both Tzaddikim , when they brought an alien fire into the Holy Place . Our Sages give a number of reasons why they died . We are told , that their punishment was due to be meted out at the time of the Giving of the Torah on Har Sinai , when they stepped up to the bottom part of the Mountain with the elders and did not show the required humility then , but their punishment was delayed so as not to bring a damper on the Giving of the Ten Commandments . Also , just after HaShem Took their souls, Aharon is Told by HaShem that no intoxicating drink is to be partaken of while performing the Avodah , and it is believed that they did . Our Sages also state that they brought an " Alien Fire , " in other words they knew HaShem's Fire was already on and they brought their own to add to it as if to say that Hashem's Heavenly Fire that consumed the korbanos wasn't sufficient , Chas Ve Shalom . Also , Nadav and Avihu , both felt their own true high holiness and thus wanted to be as close to HaShem's Shechinah as possible and thus they themselves did not display the required humility . Our Rabbonim also fault them on the fact that each one of them , on their own thought , went into The Holies , in the face of their Teacher Moshe and Father Aharon , without consulting first if what they were wanting to do was correct . A Talmid Chocham , must never make a Paskan ( a Religious Decision ) in front of their Rebbe, for to do so , incurs Heavenly Punishment . They felt themselves so holy that they even waited to marry , wanting to wait for worthy Shidduchim from their own brothers daughters . They meant all this for good reasons , but didn't display the right humility and at one occasion while they were walking behind Moshe and Aharon , both even wondered when they would get their opportunity to serve instead of Moshe and Aharon . Thus , HaShem Consumed their souls , even though they were very holy , for to the holy ones , even a small infraction for a holy person , brings about a large punishment . HaShem Assured Aharon and Moshe of their holiness that HaShem Would Still Keep their Neshomas close to HaShem and that they were not to mourn for them . Moshe summoned Mishael and Elzaphan , Uzziel's ( Aharon's Uncle's ) sons , to carry out the bodies of Nadav and Avihu . HaShem Said He Would be Sanctified by those Near Him , which showed that HaShem held Nadav and Avihu as Holy . This Statement by HaShem , has been for all time , and throughout our history , a fact that Holy Tzaddikim of each Generation , who pass away , can stand as atonement for that generation . Also for all our people slaughtered and killed Kiddush HaShem for the Sanctification of HaShem's Name . Aharon , Torah Tells us , was Silent . Aharon blamed himself for the death of his sons , considering the death of his sons as a punishment at him for his part in the Chait Ha Eigel , and HaShem Showed him that HaShem Had Held out their punishment till this time , for what they did , and Had Kept them alive till this time .
Moshe then got upset about the Sin Offering of Rosh Chodesh that was not eaten as it was supposed to have beenand got upset with Aharon's remaining sons Elazar and Ithamar, not because Moshe wanted to be nasty , but Moshe feared that another wrong may bring about the death of Aharon's remaining sons Chas Ve Shalom . Aharon put the matter straight with Moshe .
The Parsha continues on with the Laws of Kashrus , about which animal is Kosher to eat , if it has a completely split hoof and chews the cud . HaShem Mentions four animals only that have either one characteristic and not the other . The Pig ( that has a split hoof but does not chew the cud ) , as one of these four , is like Edom , that puts up its feet to show it looks Kosher but inside is as Treifah as Treif can get . Researchers traveled the World and never found any but these four that only have one of the characteristics of Kashrus , which Proves that Only HaShem , Who Knows What He Created , Must Have Had this Written in Torah , for no one else could possibly have known this . HaShem's Torah From HaShem Is True Truth Only From HaShem .
The Parsha goes on to Say which Fish are Kosher , which Birds are Kosher and all that is not Kosher . After the Laws of Kashrus in this Sedra , HaShem Reminds us that He Took us out of Mitzrayim , thus Kashrus reminds us of how , as a Jewish people , we must never assimilate with other ways and beliefs and we are to remain pure and holy , unlike Egypt was . We are to remain as Yosef did , when he was living as Viceroy of Egypt , but kept the ways of our holy Jewish Forefathers , in following HaShem Only and Keeping Kosher and pure and staying away from unholy foreign pagan ways . HaShem Ends this Parsha on these Laws of Kashrus , Reminding the Jews to always stay Holy and Pure and Kosher and not mix our Holy Jewish Torah Beliefs and Laws from HaShem, with foreign ways of Avodah Zarah Idol worship Chas Ve Shalom . So ends our Parsha .
Our Parsha is called " Shemini , " - " Eighth , " and refers to the Eighth day , the Holy Day of Inauguration on the First Day of the Month of Nissan . The number Eight has always been a holy number , a number reached after 7 , which is Moshiach's Number . Thus , Eight , would refer to the time after Moshiach comes , thus the time of the ' End of Days ' and ' Olam Ha Bah ' - 'The World To Come . ' Thus the time , when HaShem in the future , Will Return , To Be among us as in Gan Eiden . Thus this number Eight , represents the final arriving at the destination of this World , when we finally fix the Wrong that happened by Adam Ve Chava when we distanced ourselves from HaShem after that Sixth Day when we celebrated that First Shabbos Seventh Day outside the Garden of Eden and entered into the new week, where it would have been the Eighth Day and an Eternal Shabbos . Thus , that Eighth Day represents The Eternal Shabbos that we await . We are reminded in Yidishkeit many times about this holy Eighth Day and its Spiritual climb into the Spiritual from the Physical before it , like when we count the Omer between Pesach and Shavous for Seven Weeks , to grow and build Spiritually and then that next day like an Eighth Day as the 50th day , is Shavuos , when we received the Ten Commandments on Har Sinai and experienced HaShem . We are also reminded of the Eighth Number , on Chanukah , when we light the lights for Eight Days . So , this Eighth day , is a return of HaShem to our Midst .
This Parsha , starts out with the Hebrew Word " Vayehi , " and our Rabbis tell us that this word portends hurt and pain and something hurtful to come . This certainly was the case here , for as happy as this occasion was as the Inauguration of The Mishkan , the sad deaths of Nadav and Avihu came about . There are other examples of where this word " Vayehi , " - " And It was , " portended tragic events . We see this word appear in Bereishis 14:1 where a war takes place that was set to bring Avraham into it so as to do away with him chas Ve Shalom and thus destroy our people Chas Ve Shalom . Another Example of this word , is in the Megillah of Purim , where evil Haman wanted to wipe out our people Chas Ve Shalom . This Hebrew word also appears at the beginnning of the Book of Ruth , where Judges were being Judged by the very people they judged , and we note how a famine came about . This word also appears in when speaking of King Ahaz who was an unholy king and how Isaiah is sent to tell him not to fear the Northern Tribes of Israel defeating him after joining with an enemy . This Hebrew word also appears in Bereishis 4:2 just before Kayin killed Hevel . So this Hebrew word " Vayehi ," has pointed to negative events that have come . We do note that in the first Chapter of Bereishis , this word appears at the start of every day being completed . Rabbi Yishmael explained of how HaShem Wanted to Give the World and Creation , His Holy Light , But Tempered it and so Kept the Light for Mashiach's time . We experience a small part of this Original Light that HaShem Held back , every Shabbos . Thus HaShem Held Back alot of the Goodness That HaShem Wanted to Give , Knowing our sins would come .
This brings us back to the Eighth Day Inauguration , and with it , the Coming of Great Spiritual Love From HaShem . So this Eighth Day , in Spiritual Terms , shows HaShem Coming again , And Ending all calamity , Coming Again , To Be Among us In Love .
We all have to work to better ourselves and follow HaShem's Torah , bringing Light into every space in Creation that we can . We need to all work to fulfill HaShem's Will and so , bring Creation back to its " Spiritual Eighth Day " intended path toward the Eternal Shabbos of Olam Habah . Each of us can bring HaShem into His and our World . Each of us can be the one to bring on that Eighth Day of Eternity . All we need to do is for all of us , to stretch out our hands and follow HaShem's Torah that will lead us all into the Eternal Shabbos Light , May it come soon in our Days .
May we all work together to welcome HaShem Back to His Creation with love .
I wish HaShem With Love Always , a Very Sweet and Beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with Love and to all my fellow Yidden , a very sweet and beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love .

Parashas Tzav
Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas Tzav . This Parsha continues with The Korbanos Talking of the Mincha, the Meal Offering ,the Chatas Sin Offering , The Asham Guilt Offering , The Zevach HaShlamim - Feast Peace Offering as a Todah a Thanks Offering ( for a saving , healing from an illness, or safety after a journey ) and the Consecration of Aharon and his sons the Kohanim and The seven day Inauguration Ceremony ,which is where the Parsha ends.
In the previous Parsha , a lot of these offerings were already mentioned, but in this Parsha , they are mentioned more from the point of view of the Kohanim who are to do them . The Haftorah , is Yirmeyahu 7:21-8:3 , 9:22-23 , and also refers to the Offerings and that HaShem Wants us to listen to His Commands .
This Parasha is called " Tzav " which means " Command ," for HaShem Told Moshe to Command Aharon and his sons about the Law of the Olah Elevation Offering that remains on the flame on the Altar all night till the morning, where the fire on the Mizbayach Altar was to be kept aflame on it . There was to be three fires kept aflame constantly not to be extinguished , which has a hidden thought for us that we must constantly keep our Neshomas with HaShem and work constantly toward HaShem , literally living constantly within His Commandments .
We note that HaShem didn't go directly here to Aharon , and our Sages say this was due to HaShem Still Being Upset about the Chait Ha ' Eigel and also, because of Aharon's extreme humility , for he might not accept the honor , So HaShem Asked , after Moshe had put in a quiet persuasion , for Moshe to persuade Aharon with soft words to take up the honor due to him . During the seven Inauguration days , Moshe acted as Kohein Gadol , teaching and showing humble Aharon , what to do . At first , Aharon did not want to accept , feeling himself unworthy , but Moshe persuaded him , reminding him how he , Aharon , was a man of peace, caring much for peace between fellow Jews and so , would be perfect for the task as Kohein Gadol , who would be in a position to make Sholom Peace , between HaShem and His Beloved People , through the Offerings people would bring to HaShem . So Aharon accepted the honor with humilty .
The first Temple Service of the day was " Terumat Ha Deshen ," - " Separating the Ash ," removing ash from the day before . We can learn from this , that each day that we start new , that HaShem Gives us , is also an opportunity for us to clear away the mistakes and wrongs we did the day before . Each day is a new Creation , that HaShem Makes the World anew every second , so a new day is a New Act of Love from HaShem for us to better ourselves and correct our Aveirahs .
We notice that in a Torah Scroll , the word " Mokdah , " has a small Hebrew Letter Mem , making the word look like " Akeidah ," a link back to Yitzchak who was prepared to offer himself to HaShem's Will.
In the Book of Bereishis , in Chapter 22 , when it talks of the Binding of Yitzchak , HaShem Refers throughout there , to the Offering of Yitzchak as an " Olah ,- " an Elevation Offering ," the same as in this Parsha of Tzav , where this word " Mokdah " - " Flame , " appears . The word " Akeidah , " is there in the Word , and the Small Mem , in Gematria comes to 40 , where , 4+0= 4 , and points to the 22nd Chapter of Bereishis ( 2+2 = 4 ) where the Akediah took place . Thus , an Elevation Offering Elevates the person to HaShem as did the willingness of Yitzchak at the Akeidah .
The Flame must be kept Eternally burning , as our Service of Offering ourselves to HaShem , must always be Eternal as must be our closeness to HaShem Always .
We notice that just after the Akeidah , when Sarah passed away , HaShem used the word " Veliv'cotah, " - " To bewail her ( Bereishis 23:2 ) . " In the middle of this word in a Torah Scroll , is a small Hebrew letter ' Caf ,' and when we put this letter 'Caf ,' with the small letter 'Mem ,' in the present Parsha of the word " Mokdah , " we get a Caf and Mem ( for all Torah is related ) , which spells ' Camah , which means ' to long for . ' So we are to long for HaShem , in fulfilling His Commandments and do all HaShem " Tzav ," - " Commands , " so that our service of HaShem , must be an Eternal and Forever Longing for His Closeness , via His " Tzav " - " His Commands . "
We are to be like an " Olah , " - " An Elevation Offering , " to Elevate ourselves as HaShem Intends us to , with each " Tzav , " - " Command , " HaShem Gives us , working each day to better ourselves more than the day before , correcting and purifying ourselves from the day before .
HaShem's " Tzav , " - " Command , " is there to Elevate us and bring us into the Forever Light of HaShem's Love . May we always look up to HaShem and Forever , follow His " Tzav " - " Commands , " working our way to Elevate ourselves at every possible moment and opportunity That HaShem Gives us , which is what HaShem's Laws Give us , with HaShem's Torah , HaShem's Gift of Love , to bring us ever closer to the Love and Sweet Light of HaShem .
I wish HaShem With Love , a Beautiful Sweet Shabbos Kodesh with Love , and to all my fellow Jews , a beautiful sweet Shabbos Kodesh with love.

Parashas Vayikra just before Purim
Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas Vayikra ,which we read from the First Torah Scroll. This Shabbos is also Shabbat Zachor , where we are called upon , while reading Devarim 25:17-19 from the Second Torah Scroll, to remember the actions of our greatest enemy Amalek and how we are to wipe out their memory through time. Shabbat Zachor is always on the Shabbos just before Purim , on which we faced Haman , a descendant of this evil tribe of Amalek. The Haftorah in I Samuel 15:1-34 , is also about wiping out Amalek, and the ancestor of Haman, Agag, when King Shaul, was Instructed to wipe out Amalek, but didn't listen to HaShem, and allowed Amalek's leader Agag to live. In the Haftorah, the Prophet Shmuel comes to King Saul to rebuke him for not listening to HaShem's Command , and to tell King Shaul, that the Kingdom will be taken away from him . It is then that Agag gets killed, but by then , he had already continued his vile race, which , through the years , brought about haman , who wanted to wipe out the Jews in the Purim event . And so is Shabbat Zachor, to never forget what Amalek did to us , when we had left Egypt, how , unlike the other nations ,that feared G-D , on hearing of His Miracles in Egypt for us , Amalek , brushed It aside and attacked us from the rear , at our weakest point , attacking our women and children. May we never forget the memory of Amalek , and wipe them out from generation to generation . Also , we are to wipe out the lethargy and Yetzer Horah , that pulls us away , Chas Ve Shalom , from HaShem's Mitzvos , for the way to truly beat Amalek , is to study and practice Torah , following HaShem's Miztvos always .
Our Sedra this week is Vayikra , and is the start of the Third book of the Torah.
In this Parsha , HaShem Gives Instructions on the work of the Korbanos of the Kohanim, in the now completed Tabernacle and Mizbayach . HaShem Instructs , in this Parsha on the different offerings to be done . First , the Olah Elevation Offerings are discussed , and then the Mincha Meal Offerings are spoken of. HaShem Instructs that Salt must accompany the Mincha Offering , and so , today , when we await the Temple , our Kiddush Tables are our Altars, and so , we should always keep Salt on our Tables during meals . The reason we Salt your Offerings , goes back to Creation , when HaShem Split the upper waters from the lower waters and the lower waters , felt slighted and tried to reach up to HaShem , wanting the closeness with HaShem that the upper waters would now have .HaShem Subdued the lower waters and out of Kindness and Understanding for the lower water's motive , to only want to be close to HaShem, HaShem Ordained that the Salt within the lower waters , should accompany the Offerings, so that a part of the lower waters could get the opportunity to also rise to HaShem. Thus , we are to Salt our Offerings.
Then Shlamim - Feast Peace Offerings are Discussed, and then the Chatas Sin Offerings . The Parsha ends with HaShem's Instructions on the Asham Guilt Offerings .
This Parsha is called Parashas Vayikra . The word " Vayikra, " means " Called . " Moshe felt sad that he couldn't contribute articles to the building of the Mishkan , but HaShem Assured him that he would contribute in other ways , for he couldn't give physical articles to its building , as part of the reason for its building was to atone for the Chait Ha Eigel the Golden Calf , and Moshe did not have any part in that Aveirah , so the people had to be the only ones who contributed , for they needed every opportunity to Atone for that Aveirah .
After the Completion , while Aharon and all the Nesi'im and Elders were standing there , HaShem " Vayikra ," Called to only Moshe . Moshe , being the most humble man that ever lived , felt unworthy to take the honor of being the only one called and so , When HaShem Asked Moshe to write this Chapter , using the words " Vayikra ," Moshe did not feel himself worthy of such an honor ( as Moshe had felt before and been humble before , when HaShem First Called Him at the Burning Bush and when HaShem Wanted To Send him to Egypt to lead the people ) , and Moshe said that he should rather be addressed as Bilaam , the prophet of the nations would be addressed in Numbers 23:16 , with the words " Vayikar ," for HaShem There Didn't Call Bilaam directly , but Just Happened Upon him by the way as if to say , for HaShem Didn't Want To Be Conversing with Bilaam , so Moshe felt himself undeserving of such an honor as to be called directly , and so , Moshe requested that the word here be written as it would be for Bilaam , as " Vayikar ." HaShem Told Moshe to write it as Instructed , so Moshe asked HaShem to please let it at least be shown that he humbly spoke out , not wanting such an honor , and so , HaShem Allowed Moshe to write the word " Vayikra ," with a small Alef at the end , so that it looks like " Vayikar , " as it does for Bilaam , and so , in a Torah Scroll , the end letter Alef in this word, always appears smaller . How Beautiful Is HaShem and how beautiful is Moshe Rabbeinu .
Also , the. Word " Vayikra , " has within it , the word " Yakar , " which means " Dear , " For In Calling Moshe , HaShem Showed how dear Moshe was and is to HaShem .
Also , the way the word " Vayikra , " is written , with a small Alef , it appears as if the word " Vayikar " and the Alef are two separate words . As two separate words , with the word " Alef , " meaning " Teach , " thus " Vayikar Alef , " means " Called upon to Teach , " as Moshe is our eternal teacher of Torah , by writing down from HaShem , the Five Books of Moses from HaShem and through his teaching of What HaShem Told Him to Teach us , where HaShem Called upon him to teach us HaShem's Torah .
If we take the Gematria of the word " Vayikar , " it comes to 6+10+100+200 = 316 and 3+1+6 =10 , which is the number of the Ten Commandments and also HaShem's Ten Pronouncements in Creating Creation . Thus , In HaShem Calling each one of us, HaShem Is Bringing Creation via His Commandments , to Fulfillment , in order To Bring us and " Vayikra , " - " Call us " to the End Of Days .
When we don't obey HaShem's Commandments, we make a distance between HaShem and us . The Korbanos, Offerings are set to repair that distance and bring us closer to HaShem again , as long as we have the full intention to be sorry and to not repeat the Aveirah again . The idea of Korbanos , whether it is of an offering brought , or of our own prayers deep within our heart , is to bring us closer back to HaShem . This thought , is within the word " Korbanos , " for within this word , is the word " Karov , " which means " to come Close . " Every Mitzvah we do , brings us closer to HaShem . Thus the Mitzvos , are there out of Love , not control . HaShem Wants us Good and Purified and Holy , and in following His Mitzvos , we bring ourselves ever closer to our Creator and also invite HaShem To Dwell within us . Thus Torah and HaShem's Commandments , are a Total Act of Love from HaShem .
In fact , HaShem Is Most Humble of All , yet Greatest of all , for if we look at the word " Vayikra , " with its small Alef , the Small Alef , can represent HaShem Elokim and with the Words " Vayikar Elokim , " we realize that within those words , HaShem Elokim is Calling us all the time Sweetly and Silently within all that HaShem Makes , and The Path toward HaShem and to finding HaShem , is through all that HaShem Created and Creates and also through His Torah Mitzvos , for HaShem , Most Humble As He Is , is within all That He Makes , if we only just look for Him and listen closely for His " Vayikra " - " Calling ."
With Love to HaShem , I wish HaShem With Love , a Very Blessed Beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with Love and Chag Purim Sameach with Love , and to all my fellow Yidden , a very Blessed Beautiful Shabbos Kodesh and Chag Purim Sameach with love .

Parashas Pekudei
Our Parsha this Shabbos just after Rosh Chodesh Adar 2 is Parashas Pekudei.
Here, Moshe makes a " Pekudei," - " Reckoning, " of what was used in the construction of the Mishkan and Tabernacle. The Parsha discusses the completion of everything , by Betzalel Ben Uri Ben Chur of the Tribe of Yehudah and with him, Oholiav Ben Achisamach of the Tribe of Dan,who was a carver, weaver and embroiderer.
In this Parsha, we are told of the making of Aharon's Vestments, the Ephod ;The " Choshen , " - " Breatsplate, " ; the " Me'il Ha Eiphod " - " The Robe of the Ephod " ; " The Ketonet ," - " The Tunics ," ; " The Ttzitz ," - " The Headplate , " on which was Inscribed " Kodesh La HaShem ," - " Holy to HaShem ," all the work was completed as HaShem Commanded Moshe . We note that the words of each part of the work done ,in this Parsha that refers to " As HaShem Commanded Moshe ," appears 18 times , and it was from this, that The Men of the Great Assembly , ordained the 18 Blessings of the Shemoneh Esrei , we Daven as the Amidah ( before the 19th one was added about being faithful to HaShem against heretical Avodah Zorah , when it was safer for Yidden to pray this, without murder from Non Jews ) .
Moshe Inspected the Work brought to him and Moshe saw all was done according to HaShem's Wish and Command and Moshe Blessed them . This Work had taken three months and was completed on the 25th of Kislev . But HaShem wanted the Inauguration to take place in the Hebrew month of Nissan and so the 25th of Kislev was bypassed. HaShem did not want The Hebrew Month of Kislev to miss out and so , this date of the 25th of Kislev , became the first day of Chanukah. ( Midrash Says - Shemos by Rabbi Weissman ) .
HaShem Commands All to be erected and on completion , of Moshe putting It All together , when it was all erected , the Cloud Covered the Tent of Meeting and HaShem's Glory Filled the Tabernacle . Only when the Cloud did rise , would K'lal Yisrael journey . By day, The Cloud of HaShem was on the Tabernacle , and Fire by night. It is here that the Parsha , the last Sedra of the Second Book of the Torah , Shemos , ends .
The Haftorah of this Parsha is from 1 Kings 7:51 - 8:21 , and refers to the Inauguration of The Temple by Shlomo Ha Melech , a similar theme to this week's Sedra.
Moshe , being a most honest and above board leader , made a " Pekudei ," - a " Reckoning ," of all that was donated and went into the construction . Moshe had heard words against him privately , and felt the need to show he had handled all things honestly . The very word " Pakad ," which is within the word " Pekudei , " means " to entrust and appoint , to number and to Command, to inspect and to remember . " Moshe had done all at HaShem's Command and it was only by HaShem , that after the construction of each part , Did HaShem Allow it all miraculously to come together via Moshe , thus showing that Moshe was the chosen leader of HaShem, for others tried to put It all together and failed , but when Moshe came into contact with each part , it miraculously came together .
The word " Pekudei " also has within it a similar root " Pakod Yifkod , " which was pronounced to Yosef in his time , that the one who says these words will be the true redeemer to take us out of Mitzrayim Egypt , when that time arrives . These words mean , "And will surely Remember ," and these are the words that echo our redemption , when HaShem Frees us from Galus . The same idea will come with and in Mashiach's time , when HaShem " Pakod Yifkod ," Will Surely Remember us , for by then , we will have made , or there will be a full " Pekudei , " - " Reckoning and Accounting , " of ourselves and we will become hopefully deserving of the End Of Days . The very Word " Pekudei ," has within it the words ," Pakod Dai , " which means ," Will remember , when it is enough , in other words , it refers to HaShem Remembering us to Save us , when we have reached our level of holiness that is enough to warrant being saved . Though our Rabbis do show that HaShem May Bring the Time on by His Mercy .
It starts with us every day and every hour , making our own " Pekudei, " - " Accounting and Reckoning ," of ourselves to ensure that we have done all we can for HaShem . We are to make a constant reckoning of ourselves and our behaviour and make sure we improve toward HaShem all the time .We are not here to stagnate . Our very path , must be to always grow toward HaShem , to Emulate Him in all we can .
We need to be honest with our faults , so we can correct them , for hiding them Chas Ve Shalom , gets us nowhere . The only way to truly better ourselves , is to admit our mistakes and work on them . HaShem Gives us the opportunity to make a Reckoning of ourselves , only out of His Love for us and our closeness to Him .
When we have done that and purified ourselves , then HaShem Will return Himself To us within us . Then HaShem Will return to be Close to us .
It all starts with a " Pekudei ," - " Reckoning , " of ourselves . The Sedra starts with the words ' Eileh Ha Pekudei Ha Mishkan , " - " these are the Reckonings of the Tabernacle ," which sounds very much like it includes times still ongoing into the future . In other words , the " Pekudei , " - " Reckoning " from then, is still continuing today , for these words are still a Command from HaShem To always scrutinize ourselves and improve ourselves for HaShem .
The sweetest way to do that , is to " Pakod , " - " Remember all that HaShem Does for us . How little we do for Him . Let us start today to reciprocate and give back to HaShem , by making a " Pekudei , " - " A Reckoning of ourselves , and make every effort to improve ourselves in Torah Mitvos , so we can present ourselves to HaShem , that He May Inaugurate us to Himself .
I wish HaShem with Sweet Love , a Very Sweet Shabbos Kodesh and Chodesh Tov with Love , and to all my fellow Yidden , a very Sweet Shabbos Kodesh and Chodesh Tov with love .

Parashas Vayakhel
Our Parsha this week is Parashas Vayakhel on this first of four special Shabboses before Pesach. This Shabbos is Shabbos Shekalim , that always comes out just before the month of Adar in which we celebrate Purim, to remind us to give our half shekel .This year , being a leap year , where there is a second Adar, we celebrate Purim in Adar II and thus start with Shabbat Shekalim on this Shabbos before Adar II . So , we read our Sedra Vayakhel from one Torah Scroll and then Exodus 30 :11-16 for Parashas Shekalim ,from a Second Torah Scroll , and the Haftorah that we would read for Parashas Vayakhel , is replaced and we read the Haftorah for Parashas Shekalim, which is II Kings 11:17-12:17 , which makes reference to the half shekel , which Jews are to give at this time . Parashas Vayakhel starts with HaShem Commanding about the Holy Shabbos .
Moshe then Instructs that the people are to contribute to the Mishkan , according to how their heart motivates them . Thus HaShem Allowed the people to choose what they wished to contribute . The Children of Israel were so happy at the opportunity to contribute for HaShem and such a Holy Project , that they gave in abundance and the giving didn't stop. They were so happy at the opportunity to make up for the Chait Ha'Aigel - The Golden Calf , that their kindness and need for forgiveness overwhelmed them, till eventually Moshe had to ask them to stop bringing , as they had brought enough . HaShem Told Moshe that 13 year old Betzalel ben Uri ben Chur of the Tribe of Yehudah would be endowed with HaShem's Inner Hidden Meaning for all that was to be constructed and that Oholiav ben Achisamach of the Tribe of Dan was to assist him. HaShem Asked Moshe what he thought of Appointing Betzalel and Moshe responded , ' If he be okay by You HaShem , then most certainly ,' and Moshe asked the people and they responded, ' If it be okay by HaShem and by you Moshe , then most certainly .' The Parsha continues till the end , with the construction of the Holy Mishkan . All Holy Articles were made according to exactly How HaShem Wanted them made .
The Leaders, wrongly assumed that the rest should not bring things due to the aveirah of the Chait Ha Aigel , and so, they waited and didn't come forth first with their offerings , thinking they would still be able to bring their contributions afterwards , not realizing that the Children of Israel would bring so much , that within two days , they would have to be asked to stop bringing . Thus HaShem was Displeased at the Nesiim - the Leaders , that they waited and did not think to give K'lal Yisroel the opportunity to repent , and so HaShem in the Torah , Writes the word 'Nes'i'm with only one Hebrew Letter Yud , thus Showing His Displeasure. The leaders ended up bringing the precious stones for the settings of the Ephod and Breastplate .
The Kiyor - Laver was made from Copper Mirrors and HaShem Said that these mirrors are to be used for water to be put in the Kiyor for the Kohanim to wash before their Avodah , thus to keep purity , as was the Jewish Woman , who originally used these mirrors to beautify themselves in Mitzrayim , not for immodesty and pride and arrogance Chas Ve Shalom , but to beautify themselves in order that their husbands who came in from slavery , would continue to increase the size of the nation . The purity of the Jewish Woman , ensured that we went from 70 souls when we went into Egypt , to over 600 000 males between certain ages and also women and children and males above that specific age , when HaShem Took us out when we left Egypt . The purity of the Jewish Women helped keep our nation alive and kept up faith and hope in HaShem , of our imminent Redemption from Egypt . May HaShem Forever Bless the Jewish Woman .
Our Parsha ends with those Holy Articles that were made, ending with the Screen of the Gate of the Courtyard .
Our Parsha Vayakhel , starts with the Shabbos . The word " Vayakhel ," means " Assembled, " and in this case , HaShem had Moshe " Vayakhel ," - " Assemble ," the entire nation of Israel to hear The Laws of the Shabbos and the Commandments that follow . In this Parsha , HaShem Instructs on the Tabernacle and Mishkan and 39 Labours are mentioned with respect to the Construction of the Tabernacle , which HaShem Juxtaposed with the Commandments of the Shabbos , thus teaching us of the 39 Melachos , Forbidden Labors forbidden on the Shabbos , that were done in the Tabernacle's Construction . Thus , HaShem Forbids us these 39 Labors when Shabbos starts . This gives us a hint that when HaShem Created Creation , HaShem Must Have in some way used these 39 orders of Making , When HaShem Made Creation . HaShem Tells us He Rests On Shabbos and so , Wants us to emulate Him , and Rest also , and so spiritually become one with Creation around us without engaging in any forbidden Labor . We all know the Story of how each day of Creation had a partner except Shabbos . Shabbos wondered who would be Shabbos' partner , and HaShem Said To The Shabbos , that the Jews will be your partner. As Much as we Jews are to keep the Shabbos, just as much so through time , it isn't just the Jews who keep the Shabbos , but Shabbos has also kept the Jews . It is what we are as a Nation , as a people , as a Representative of HaShem . It is a Day to put aside the week before , and truly immerse ourselves in HaShem, Oh how He Longs for us to be near Him . HaShem Commands us to " Vayakhel ," - " To Assemble ," all together as a full nation , even into the future , and then again in the same verse , refers to us " all as an entire assembly " to assemble , twice in the same verse . Here is a hint that if all Jews would just keep Shabbos twice in a row , Mashiach wouuld come , if only we would all " Vayakhel , " - " Assemble ," together . This is deeply hinted even in the word " Vayakhel ," for its Gematriah comes to 6+10+100+5+30 = 151 and 1+5+1 = 7 , the number of Mashiach .
In remembering how HaShem Made Creation in six days, we are to acknowledge the Shabbos . Thus , in acknowledging the Shabbos and keeping It , we acknowledge that HaShem Is The Creator .
The Assembling came right after the verse of Moshe's Radiant face , in the Parsha before , where the word " Vayakhel ," starts with a " Ve , " showing a connection with the words before , thus showing how , the Light we have on Shabbos, must be from within , from the Radiance of HaShem , and thus we are not to kindle physical light on the Shabbos . Shabbos must be a truly Holy Day , A Day , when we can bask in the Light of HaShem.
The Command to " Vayakhel , " - " Assemble ," is for all time , even into the future , and so , we are Commanded in every Generation , to be one people under our One and Only HaShem , and Bring HaShem's Light to the World , so that we can bring on Mashiach , and bring on the Eternal Shabbos, that we would have gone straight into , had we not left Gan Eiden after what happened with Adam ve Chava .
So let us all " Vayakhel ," - " Assemble , " as one Jewish People , together as one , as Yaakov Told us when he was blessing his sons , and telling us this will be when Mashiach can come if we come together as one , and so , may we bring on together , the holy Eternal Shabbos in the Sweet and Beautiful Light of HaShem in Gan Eiden . May all Jews come together as one and " Vayakhlel ," - " Assemble , " Together , all Jews Keeping the Holy Shabbos Kodesh as Commanded by HaShem , and finally bring this Creation to its intended Redemption in the Loving Arms of HaShem Ha Kadosh Baruch Hu.
With Love to HaShem , I wish HaShem with Love , a Very Beautiful Holy Shabbos Kodesh With Love , and to all my fellow Jews , a very Beautiful and Holy Shabbos Kodesh with love .
