Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas Beha'alotcha where HaShem asks Moshe to tell Aharon that when he lights the Menorah,it must be toward the face of the Menorah where the seven lamps are to cast their light.
This was a special task for Aharon to do every day.
This task of kindling 'Beha'alotcha' the Menorah had to be done with a special order, that when the lamps were kindled, they were to be kindled toward the 'Face of the Menorah.'
How can this be,if a Menorah does not have a face? What is being referred to here?
The word here in Hebrew that is used for 'Face,' is the Hebrew word 'P'nei.' Taking a deeper look at this word we see that this word 'P'nei,' is like the word 'P'nima,' which means 'Interior or Within.' In other words,Aharon was to kindle the Menorah toward the innermost lamp which was the middle one. This was what is mean't by the 'Face of the Menorah.' The middle lamp, the central one, represented HaShem ,for even the word used refers to HaShem , as the word 'Pnei,' is the word 'Panim' which means 'Face' and in this verse ends with a Yud, which can be rendered as 'My Face,' in reference to HaShem, who was speaking. So,Aharon was being instructed to kindle the lamps toward HaShem , Who is our central Light Who made us all and all of Creation. The lamps around the central one, are like our Souls that must always be toward HaShem and His Wishes. We are to , every day , work our souls toward HaShem and His Holiness for it is from HaShem that our light and life emanates.Within each one of us,like the Menorah, HaShem is within us ,within our souls that burn toward HaShem yearning to be one with HaShem .
So ,in kindling the Menorah ,like us kindling our physicalities toward HaShem by keeping His Torah, we hone all physicality toward the Holiness of G-D and so, raise ourselves to our Creator. Thus we 'Rise and Elevate,' which is in Hebrew the word 'Alah or Ilah,' our bodies and the physicality around us to an elevated level. This word 'Ilah or Alah,' which means 'Elevate or Rise,' is within the Hebrew word 'Beha'alotcha,' showing that the act of kindling is the act of elevating and raising ourselves toward our Creator. Thus when Aharon 'Beha'alotcha,'-'Kindled' the lamps toward the central lamp, Aharon was elevating the very Physical World , to a level of Spirituality that was Holy and , as the candle reaches upwards, so did this action ,which we are also to follow in keeping HaShem's Laws, an action that elevates the very physicality of Creation toward HaShem .
The light within us all that burns with life , yearns to be close to our Creator . To raise and elevate that life on a level above the physical boundaries of this Physical World , we need to do all HaShem asks of us to do , to keep the light within us burning closer toward HaShem .The act of kindling is an act of obedience to the very Torah of HaShem that HaShem wrote as a blueprint to this World two thousand years before Creation . This World cannot exist without It's Central Flame - HaShem .If HaShem had to stop thinking of us for an instant, we would cease to exist .Thus HaShem constantly keeps the flame burning for this World thinking all the time about each and every one of us. HaShem Seeks to make the Physicality that we are and that is around us, a part of the Spirituality above ,so that they can become one. This can only be done if each and every one of us 'Beha'alotcha,' - 'Kindles' ourselves always toward HaShem . Then all Creation can be at one with HaShem and the very Heavens can become a place on Earth where HaShem can dwell among us.
HaShem tells Moshe to make the Menorah out of one hammered out piece of Gold. This signifies that we are all to be one with HaShem , our Central Light .HaShem also instructs Moshe to make the Menorah as HaShem showed Moshe .There is no diagram in the Torah so this shows us that there were Laws that Moshe was given that were not written down but carried through the generations Orally through our Sages as a key to the Torah HaShem Gave which makes up our Holy Mishna (Torah She B'Al Peh),all with proven references to the Written Word (Torah She Bichtav) of Torah.
HaShem Emanates Perfect Light and Does not need our light of a Menorah. Yet HaShem asked that Aharon kindle the physical light so that this Physical World can raise and elevate itself to the 'P'nei,' - the 'Face,' of HaShem .
So may we all hold onto HaShem's Light of Torah and kindle ourselves always toward HaShem's Light and Love.
With Love to HaShem, I wish HaShem with Love, a Beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with Love and our light of obedience and to all my fellow Jews, a beautiful Holy Shabbos Kodesh filled with light and with love.

Parashas Nasso
Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas Nasso. In this Parsha, the responsibilities of the Kohanim are given by HaShem as well as the purification of the camp and then the Laws of the Sotah are discussed which deal with an unfaithful wife who gets brought to the Kohen where she faces the test of the Sotah. After this, the Laws of the Nazarite are discussed where a Jew who wishes to elevate him or herself takes the Nazarite Vow to abstain from wine and grapes, cutting of the hair and not to come near a dead person for the period of his or her Nezirus so as to elevate him or herself spiritually.Thereafter the Torah discusses the Priestly Blessing through HaShem ,Who Blesses K'lal Yisrael. The Sedra ends with the offerings brought for the Tabernacle, by the Tribal Leaders, all miraculously bringing identical offerings. So this Sedra talks of Holiness and ways of elevating oneself as well as that couples must keep themselves faithful to each other.HaShem Sees it so important that faithfulness must exist between couples that He would even let His Name be erased in the bitter waters, for the sake of keeping faithfulness and Sholom Bait in the home.
The word 'Nasso,' the Name of this Sedra , refers to the 'Census' that HaShem Commanded Moshe to take ,of the sons of Gershon ,who were Levites.Though the word 'Nasso,' in this Sedra means 'Take a Census,' this word comes from the root Hebrew Word 'Nasa,' which means 'To Elevate.'This is what HaShem's Laws do.They elevate us so that we can rise above our physicalities and Yetzer Horah that pulls us down ,so that we can come to HaShem in closeness. The Laws in this Sedra are all to do with rising above the Physical. The Law of the Nazarite is to choose to elevate the one making the Nazarite Vow above their physical desires,by abstaining from wine and keeping holy as a Kohen does. The Laws of the Sotah, where a woman who was warned to stay away from one that is not her husband, but continued to do that which was not faithful and gets tested by the waters of the Sotah into which HaShem's name is written and dissolved, also is a strong reminder to keep holiness and elevate the couple to a faithful way of living so that they can keep a high spiritual level and modesty and faithfulness within the home as HaShem Wants of us.The bringing of the offerings by each tribe to inaugurate the Tabernacle,is again the elevation of physical things to a level of holiness. The Priestly Blessing is an opportunity for HaShem's Shechinah to stand behind the Kohanim as they stand to bless the people with open fingers through which HaShem's Blessing passes. This,a beautiful way that HaShem Elevates His People.
So this Sedra is all about elevation toward G-D .HaShem's Holy Laws are given out of love.HaShem's Holy Laws refine us and bring us to G-D .Each and every Law brings us closer to Him . The idea of a Korban is to bring closeness between HaShem and us. The word 'Korban,' has within it the Hebrew word 'Karov,' which means 'Close.' Every Law is to bring us closeness with our Creator. It is not to control us, but it is a show of Love, how deeply HaShem wants us with Him . Each Law is a 'Nasa,' an 'Elevation,' above the physical bounds that hold us and allows us to fly high toward G-D as a candle's flame yearns to climb upwards.Infact a Candle in Hebrew is 'Ner,' which is close to the word 'Nasso.'The Hebrew word 'Neis,' means 'Miracle,' which has the same Hebrew roots as the word 'Nasso.' Each Law that G-D Gives is a miracle. We may not see that now, but we cannot imagine the beauty that our obedience to HaShem's Laws bring. The very Creation is a miracle. Our very existance is a miracle. The word 'Neis,' - ' Miracle,' exists within the word 'Nasso,' which comes from the word 'Nasa,'showing that HaShem's Laws are there to elevate us to the final purpose of the miracle of Creation .
Within the 'Neis,' - 'Miracle,' of our 'Nasa,'-'Elevation,' we come to G-D and that is the most beautiful Miracle of all .If only all could see this .If only all could realize that just being obedient to G-D , will bring on the greatest Miracle of all , the meeting with G-D Himself .
As each of us come to be counted 'Nasso,' to keep HaShem's Laws , so will the final destination of this Creation reach its most beautiful 'Neis,' - 'Miracle,' and come to meet HaShem .
May we all work to elevate ourselves by being counted as part of HaShem's intended Creation where we come together with HaShem .
With love to HaShem , I wish HaShem with Love a Beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with Love and to all, a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love.

Parashas Bamidbar
Our Parsha this Shabbos on the eve of Shavuot is Parashas Bamidbar, wherre HaShem asks Moshe and Aharon to take a census of the Children Of Israel in 'Bamidbar' - ' The Wilderness.'
Why would HaShem call for a census?HaShem knew how many Jews there were.So why the need to make a count of each number?
We all have things precious to us.If we make a collection of these precious things,we count how many of that precious thing we have.So is each Jew precious to HaShem .Each and every single Jew is most precious to HaShem and HaShem acknowledges the presence of every Jewish Neshoma. HaShem knew the number,as a census had been done not that long before that and miraculously, the numbers hadn't dwindled. So not only is each Jew precious, but the very fact that each Jew is precious shows in this counting that HaShem takes a very active role in keeping us as a people safe.HaShem is with us in every breath we take and if we keep HaShem's Commandments, our numbers will remain the same.
HaShem counted us in 'Bamidbar,' - ' An Owner-less Wilderness,' to show us that we,as a people, each and every one of us -counted - belong to HaShem .HaShem Took us out of Egypt and we are His .
In the humble 'Bamidbar,'-'Wilderness' we humble ourselves to our Creator, without the physical attractions that pull us away from Holy Ways. These physical trappings, are just that,'trappings' that have no long lasting value. It is only in HaShem that we are to put our faith and trust and efforts.Physical things cannot accompany the human being on his or her travels through life and death and life.It is only the Work and Spiritual faithfulness in following HaShem's Torah , that we carry with us from transmigration to transmigration.A life for G-D is true life. A life for physicalities is value-less in the eternal scheme of things.
We stand on this Shabbos on the eve of Shavuot when HaShem gave His Precious Torah to our people. This was a day HaShem awaited since before Creation. At this auspicious moment, HaShem finally brought our people into His Covenant .Each and every Jew, then, in the past and now and into the future stood at Har Sinai and received HaShem's Torah. It is on Torah , that the World lives. For this World to continue morally, Torah is needed. HaShem made the Torah and as our Midrash says, looked into the Torah and Created the World, for the Torah preceded Creation by Two Thousand Years. The Torah is Creation's Blueprint.A World without Torah is not a World. The true World is a Torah World. On this Shavuot, may you look deep into yourself and reunite with the Covenant that every Jew ,past, present and future made with HaShem and return to Him with love and obedience and faithfulness. It is within HaShem's Torah that HaShem Speaks to us.
Within the Word 'Bamidbar,' is the Hebrew word 'Medaber,' which means 'To Speak with.'
As HaShem counts each Jew in the 'Bamidbar,'-'Wilderness,' HaShem is also speaking with each Jew calling each Jew close to Him .HaShem may have spoken then, but HaShem's Voice is eternal,So HaShem's Voice that Spoke then , is still carrying through the ages ,speaking now to each and every Jew , calling each and every Jew out of the Wilderness of this physicality and into the World of HaShem .It is only HaShem's Words -'Medaber,' that can take us out of this physical value-less Wilderness and bring us to Him in total closeness. It is only HaShem through HaShem's Words 'Medaber' of 'Torah,' that carries us out of the 'Bamidbar'-'Wilderness,' and counts each special one carrying us up to Him.
HaShem carries us every day, HaShem gives us breath to live every day. Let each day and moment count toward true life and value and let us be the very Torah Light that keeps the Torah and brings this World to Heaven.
With love for HaShem, I wish HaShem with love , a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh and Chag Sameach with love and to all, a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love and Chag Sameach.

Parashas Bechukosai
Our Parsha this Shabbos is 'Bechukosai,' referring to HaShem's Decrees . HaShem says. , 'Im Bechukosai Teileichu,' - ' If you will follow in My Decrees ,' and HaShem then talks of the Beautiful Blessings that will come about if we follow HaShem's Decrees. Twenty Two Blessings are mentioned here covering all corners of the physical World and reaching up into the spiritual. The number twenty-two is 2+2 which makes 4 and this points to the four corners of physicality. Then, HaShem mentions the strong Curses that will come about should His Decrees not be followed - seven-fold curses for the sins committed. Thus the Blessings come to a form of the number four yet the Curses make reference to the number seven. So what does this number refer to? If we take into account the four directions around us and add to this what is above and below, we get six.So where is the seventh number? The seventh is within us.Thus the four directions around us,up and down and also the soul within us which is the seventh number .So,the curses will effect our very souls in order to bring us back onto the right track.HaShem does not wish to punish us.HaShem wishes to shower us with His Blessings but when one goes off track, that action in itself brings a person into a direction away from HaShem which automatically brings the lesson that comes with going toward a place that is not toward HaShem . Where HaShem is, so is the Light. When we do not follow HaShem's Commandments , it doesn't just affect our bodies but goes to the very centre of our being and that is the soul that HaShem gave us to live that is within us.With our soul, we are supposed to use it to come closer to HaShem, but if we turn away from HaShem's Decrees, we physically as well as spiritually pull ourselves away from our Creator - Chas Ve Shalom.
HaShem says ,' Im Bechukosai Teileichu,' - ' which means 'If we follow after HaShem's Decrees,' and within these few short words is one of the answers to Creation and how we can complete our destination to where HaShem wants us to be- with Him .The secret lies in each of these three words. 'Im,' - ' If,' which shows that HaShem allows us a choice to do right. The very fact of that choice is what makes our 'doing right' special , for when we do something out of pure love, it is totally from us . This first word shows that one of the purposes of Creation is that we do what HaShem Wants us to do,purely out of Love .
The next word 'Bechukosai,' - 'refers to Decrees of HaShem . Within this word is the word 'Chok,' which refers to a Commandment of G-D for which we are not given an explanation and thus we do it out of pure love. There again, we have the concept of 'Love' for our Creator.
The third word 'Teileichu,' refers to 'following after,' the decrees. What would we follow after? Human nature follows after that which is deeply loved. To follow after the Decrees shows more than just keeping them, but also following after their deeper meanings which means also studying them , for we might learn to have a greater love for them if we study them to their depth. Thus learning Torah and keeping Torah becomes a show of love, just as the act of 'following after' is an act of love as is the act of choosing HaShem above our wishes, an act of love as is Doing what HaShem Wants without us having to know why, an act of love for HaShem. Here again, we have the act of Love of HaShem.
Thus within these three words is one of the answers to Creation. For HaShem Created Creation out of an act of Pure Love and Giving Kindness and so , in following HaShem's Commandments and Decrees,by our own choice , we show HaShem the way HaShem Wants to be shown , that we love Him.
If a wife likes flowers and her husband gives her a more expensive diamond ring, it was her wish to get the flowers. The husband may have wanted to please her by buying her the diamond ring, but she wanted flowers. To love her, is to make her desire and wish more important than his.
The same is for HaShem.
To love HaShem for HaShem, we are to follow what HaShem desires and wants of us, whether we understand it or not . HaShem Knew all that was needed for Creation , so we need to trust with love for HaShem that HaShem knows what is needed , to keep it going and lead it in the direction it is supposed to go.Going back to the first error in Gan Eiden where it all started in leading us all to this place,,we now can learn that the main issue is not to know what the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge is for,but the main issue is to listen to HaShem because we love and trust Him and thus do always what HaShem Wants us to do. That is truly following HaShem with Love .
With Deepest Love to HaShem , I wish HaShem with Love , a most beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with Love and to all my fellow Yidden , a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love.
