Parashas Vayikra

Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parshas Vayikra and it is also Rosh Chodesh Nissan leading up to Pesach where we remember how HaShem set us free from bondage to be a Holy people to HaShem.
What is freedom? Is it the opportunity to go and do what we like to do , even though it may have no long lasting meaning? Is it the opportunity to fill our physicality with delights that will do us no long lasting Good? No.True Freedom is the ability to be able to free our souls from the physical bonds of this world and reach for true and everlasting heights. The freedom to reach HaShem. That is what the purpose is in this world. That is what has true and ever-lasting value. To do that ,is to truly live.To live with purpose and meaning, away from the 'Mitzrayim' (which means borders and is what Egypt is called in Hebrew) that is around us ,to try keep us low -Chas Ve Shalom.
We see,at the beginning of our Parsha that the word,'Vayikra' is written with a small 'Aleph.'Our Rabbis tell us that this is so to show how HaShem made Himself Small (like the small 'Aleph') in Humility and Blessing of Moshe so as to honor Moshe.
I have another idea.If we look closely at the word 'Vayikra,' and take into account the small 'Aleph,' then it can also look like the word 'Vayaker,' with the Aleph being small and separate from the word 'Vayaker. ' So it shows that 'the 'Aleph' is part of another word while 'Vayaker' could then remain as a single word. The word 'Vayaker' means - ' And was dear or precious.' The 'Aleph' is HaShem's Name , often spelt with an 'Aleph' and this can show that HaShem is saying that Moshe and us are 'very dear' to HaShem and what makes us more dear, is when we offer our inner selves to the Will of G-D.
In this Parsha we read of the 'Korbanot' the 'Offerings' that are brought to HaShem.Looking within the word 'Korban' we see the root 'Karov,' which means 'to come close to or to come within.' So,in bringing a Korban to HaShem, we come close to HaShem and allow HaShem within us.In doing this,we become precious and special and dear to HaShem in showing HaShem the closeness we want with HaShem. In the midst of that closeness,we allow HaShem within us for that is what 'coming close to HaShem' means.
The word 'Vayikra,' starts with a 'Va' which means 'And'. This shows us that what was mentioned before this verse , is related to this word and verse. The verses before spoke of how we would journey only when HaShem wanted us to and stop our journeys when HaShem told us to.This shows true faith in HaShem, putting ourselves totally into HaShem's Hands. In showing total faith in HaShem,HaShem felt us very 'Yakar' - 'Dear ' to Him. We do not know anything of what really is.HaShem knows all.We thus need to learn to trust in faith that HaShem knows what He is doing and so , we need to follow G-D in all things. If we do,we will get to where we are meant to go and be with HaShem in precious closeness. If we truly open ourselves up to HaShem then we will hear HaShem's 'Vayikra' - 'Call.' The word 'Vayira' means ' And He Called.' The 'Yud' near the beginning of this word can also show the future tense teaching us that HaShem Will continue to Call out' to us.'. So 'And He Will Call,' shows us that as HaShem called then,so does HaShem continue now and into the future, to constantly call out to us and plead with us to follow His Laws and so, be able to come close to HaShem.
The word 'VaYikra' in Gematria comes to '6+10+100+200+1=317' and 317 is '3+1+7=11' which gives us the letters 'Yud' (10) and 'Aleph' (1) which spells 'Yah' which is HaShem, so HaShem calls out to us to come close to Him. Taking the 11 and bringing it to '1 + 1=2' shows that HaShem wants to be close to us, even though HaShem is separate from us,HaShem calls out to us to 'Karov' - 'Come Close to HaShem .
Moshe Rabbeinu who was HaShem's very dear prophet and our dear teacher and who brought us the Torah, managed to climb to a very high spiritual level through the 49 Gates of Purity by following G-D and teaching others to follow G-D . So as we approach Pesach and then count the 49 Days of the Omer till we receive the Holy Torah on the 50th Day which is Shavuoth, may we merit to be in HaShem's presence and bring HaShem within us . As we enter into this month of Nissan and celebrate Rosh Chodesh on this very special Shabbos, let us take HaShem's Words from our precious Moshe Rabbeinu (May HaShem Eternally Bless him) and hold close to them and free ourselves from the physical Mitzrayim-Egypt around us and climb high toward HaShem coming close to HaShem's 'Vayikra' - 'Call.' HaShem said that Nissan will be the first of the months and that took place in the month we were freed to follow HaShem in Holiness. From this month onwards let us all make a very special effort to do all we can to come close to HaShem as HaShem Calls us to follow His Torah True.HaShem 'Vayikra' 'Calls' out to us every day and every moment.Listen closely and follow HaShem's plea for us to follow His Holy Torah and to Follow HaShem Only.
With love,I wish HaShem a Blessed Holy and Sweet Shabbos and Chodesh Tov wiith Endless Love and to all,a Beautiful holy and sweet Shabbos and Chodesh Tov with love.
