Our Parsha this Shabbos is 'Parshas Devarim,' where Moses sadly gives his last talk to the people for just over 36 days, where Moshe reminds the people to keep the Torah. The Parsha is called 'Devarim,' which means 'words' but also has the meaning 'Daber' which means ,'Speak' so as Moshe spoke to us then,so will and do,the words speak to us now.Even though Moshe spoke these words so long ago,the words will always remain in the air (as words do when we speak them) and so,these words will always surround us in every age. These words, these very same words are still there around us,travelling the entire world and beyond and permeating every part of our Neshomas. These words still speak to us,pleading with us as Moshe did then,to always keep close to HaShem and always keep HaShem's Torah Laws,no matter what changes occur in each age.The Torah Laws are eternal and timeless as they were made by HaShem, who is Eternal and above time. Each precious letter and each precious syllable sweetens the very air as it pleads with us to remain faithful to Torah Laws and values and to not stray Chas Ve Shalom. When the Yetzer Horah tells us that the Laws are for then and not for now Chas Ve Shalom,we know that is not true, for G-D is forever and to return to Gan Eiden in the future, which is still to happen, these very Laws are the pathway to Gan Eiden.
The way we speak and how we conduct ourselves must also be sweet and kind. Our very words and talk, must echo the Holiness of HaShem within and inside our souls.By doing this,we let the very light of HaShem within us,lighten all around us with beautiful Holiness. If our words are sweet,so will be the air around us which will travel to the very ends of the Universe and the whole Universe will be infused with HaShem's wish of light that is there but hidden and waiting for us to release it.
So there is a very big duty on us to complete the world as HaShem wants us to,with releasing the hidden sparks of light that G-D has put there. We can do this with our words and actions.
The word 'Devarim' as it appears in our Parsha has a 'Ha' in front of it,to show that the words are 'HaShem's words. That G-D has never stopped speaking to us from the beginning of Creation and will continue forever. We just need to listen and follow HaShem and we will hear Him.
The word 'Daber' in Gematriah comes to 4+2+200=206 and 2+0+6=8.If we take HaShem's Name 'Yud Key Vav Key,' it also comes to 26 which is 2+6=8.Both come to 8.So thee very words are HaShem's words that speak to each of us eternally with HaShem's Love. The word 'Daber' appears twice in this verse to show us that HaShem's words were as Moshe spoke.Let us all keep the Torah and follow its precious Laws and so,hear every beautiful and precious loving word that HaShem speaks to us,with Love.
I wish HaShem with precious love a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh and I wish you all a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love.
