Our
Parsha is Parshas Tzav this Shabbos.HaShem speaks to Moshe and tells
Moshe to command Aharon and his sons about the Law of the Olah -
Elevation Offering. We see here in the second verse of this chapter that
the word "Mokdah" -" that the "Mem" is written smaller,as if to
highlight the word "VeKadah."The word "Mokdah" is taken to mean "flame"
but also refers to the focal point of the flame, the main
part that goes upwards. This fits with the Olah" Offering as it also
"Elevates" and goes upwards to HaShem. The Olah Offering had to be
offered every day.So HaShem was telling Moshe that Aharon was to offer
this every day.Every day,Aharon and his sons were to do this elevation
offering and this was a "Tzav," a command.
So what is HaShem trying
to tell us.Every day,it is not just a choice,but a "Tzav" a "Direct
Command" that we elevate and work to elevate ourselves toward
Holiness. We are Commanded to better ourselves, and not just be like the
day before-which would be a form of not living Chas Ve Shalom. If we
don't live to aspire everyday for HaShem, then we have not done what we
are Created to do-to elevate each moment in time so that it reaches
HaShem. HaShem Creates this world anew every day, every minute, every
second and we are to elevate it all the time.We are to show our
appreciation for HaShem's Creating,by bringing every moment back to Him
that He gives us.We are "Tzav" - "Commanded" to do this as Aharon was
"Tzav" - "Commanded" to do the Olah" - "Elevation Offering" every
day. This "Elevation Offering" was to be put on the "Mokdah" the "Focal
Point" of the flame so that it could rise up so high and call down
Heaven.
I mentioned that the word "Mokdah" has a small "Mem." This
leave the word "VeKadah" ,which means "And Bows." So,the very fire
around the focal point of the offering would literally bend in respect
to HaShem ,to whom this offering was sent. The fire that bowed,is a
lesson to all people, that we are all to put ourselves aside and
prostrate ourselves (the whole world) to The One That Reigns over all,To
the King of kings The Holy One Blessed Be He.
Fire is like a
Neshomah,so when we elevate ourselves to HaShem,it bows within us in
total humility to the Almighty. The word "VeKadah" comes to 115 in
Gematria which is 1+1+5 = 7 (the value of the word Mashiach),so HaShem
is telling us that if we put the "Mem" (Gematrical value of 40 - which
is 4+0 =4 -like the 4 sides of the physical world) - the physicality
around us smaller and rise above it to the spiritual,we will elevate
ourselves above the physical around us and be Elevated to
HaShem, bringing on the time of Mashiach,a time when the physical world
itself, will be Elevated to be with HaShem.Let us all work every day to
elevate ourselve higher and higher by keeping Torah and keeping Shabbos
and treating our fellow people with morality and kindness and be people
of purity and humility and modesty always.Let us do this special act of
love for HaShem.I love You HaShem and wish You a most Beautiful Shabbos
Kodesh with love and to all, with love,a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with
love.
