Our Parsha this Shabbos is a double Parsha Acharei Mot - Kedoshim.
'Acharei Mot' means 'After the Death of' and refers to after the death of Aharon's two sons Nadav and Avihu and starts out with HaShem Instructions for Aharon that entry into the Sanctuary within the Curtain in front of the Cover that is upon the Ark shall not be at all times. It is where HaShem's Shechina rests it is not a place to be entered unless permissible by HaShem. This is in reference to Aharon's two sons who entered of the own accord. This is an indication and reference to the Yom Kippur Service. Thus the Yom Kippur service finds mention alongside the mention to the death of the two sons of Aharon. Our sages say that the two are mentioned together to teach that the death of a righteous person, can bring atonement in a generation. Then the Parsha teaches that Offerings are to be brought to the Kohanim, and not as before offered on the open field anywhere.
The Parsha then teaches not to consume any blood.
The Parsha continues with the first mention of Forbidden relationships. Some are again mentioned two Chapters later. We notice how it says with some of these Commandments, "I Am HaShem."This reminds us that HaShem Puts the soul in us all , so when we sin with or against others, we are directly sinning against HaShem. This Parsha ends with a strong reminder of how the nations before did these evil practices and how we are not to do them.
The next part is Parashas Kedoshim, where HaShem teaches us Laws to be holy as HaShem Starts out by Saying,"K'doshim Ti'Heyu Ki Kadosh Ani," - "You shall be holy ,for Holy am I ." This is the basis of every Law and Commandment we do and are given.First HaShem Mentions the Sabbath and then to shun Avodah Zorah idol-worship.Then Laws for the poor are mentioned and honest dealings with others. The famous injunction of loving our fellow is mentioned here and again HaShem Ends that verse with 'I Am HaShem,' reminding us that HaShem is with us all and treating others badly is treating HaShem badly Chas Ve Shalom.
The Laws of Kilayim - forbidden mixtures comes next and then the Shifchah Chanufah , the maidservant designated .
HaShem Warns us not to eat blood, follow sorcery or believe in lucky times, not to round off the edge of our scalp or beard, or cut the flesh for the dead or make tattoos, as pagan idolworshippers would do. Again HaShem ends this verse with "I Am HaShem."
HaShem Instructs us on fair weights and Measures.
HaShem Reminds us that it was He Who Tool us out of Egypt and we are to observe His Decrees and Ordinances and to do them.
HaShem Warns us not to give over our children to molech.HaShem Tells us to be holy as HaShem Is Holy.
We are not to curse our Father or Mother. Then the Forbidden relationships are repeated , this time with more references to the punishments for them.We are to keep the Land Holy , Israel,a land flowing with Milk and Honey, a sweet reference to Torah.HaShem tells us how we are separated from all people and to be holy and to keep Kashrut. HaShem ends the Parsha with a warning not to indulge in sorcery. Here the Parsha ends.
Running through both these Parshas is the theme of Kedoshim, holiness and separation from the physical negativities around us - to approach HaShem with Holiness. There are countless levels to reach, and each Mitzvah aids us in climbing certain spiritual rungs like the dream of Jacob's - Yaakov's Ladder. Each Mitzvah is important and necessary in its own way. Someone once asked what is the most important Mitzvah, and the Rabbi answered very wisely that one Mitzvah is not more important really than any other, but what is important is that when the time comes to do a particular Mitzvah at that particular time, that is the important Mitzvah of that time, but all Mitzvos are of importance and all are necessary to become 'Kedoshim' ' Holy.'
Approaching HaShem , needs "Kedoshim, "Holiness." We get this Holiness by remembering that every Law we keep and being good to others , is also treating HaShem right, for as HaShem reminds us, that when we treat our fellow man correctly , HaShem is treated correctly with morals as long as HaShem's Laws are being kept.HaShem Reminds us repeatedly to be Holy As HaShem is Holy. HaShem Tells us we can do it, we can be Holy. HaShem Tells us to emulate Him.HaShem wants us close. And that means not going our own way, but His Way.We may not understand the depth of each Mitzvah or why, but we can rest assured that His Awesomeness is never wrong and we can't get lost in physical tangles if only we listen to Him. Listening , doesn't mean doing our own thing no matter how right we think we are. What happened to Aharon's two sons proved that. They meant to do a holy action, but their own will ended up to be the wrong way. It starts with Humility and trust in our Creator, to know which way to go.
We all , like a ship, need to come to shore and make harbor safely. HaShem's Torah is the Lighthouse that leads us back to Shore safely, back to HaShem. That is Kedoshim. That is Holiness. HaShem is our Creator and His Torah is our Lighthouse Home to Him. Let us all go Safely Home to HaShem.
With love to HaShem, I wish HaShem with Love, a Beautiful Special Shabbos Kodesh with Love and to all, a beautiful special Shabbos Kodesh with love.

Parashas Tazria - Metzora
Our Parsha this Shabbos is a double portion of Tazria - Metzora and deals with Purity and Contamination.
In Parashas Tazria, we are taught about the contamination after childbirth and how the purification is done.
Then the Torah goes on to discuss the various types of Tzaraas - Leprosy that comes on the skin which needs to be shown to the Kohein .Signs of Affliction can appear anywhere including on the head. The afflicted , is isolated during the affliction.
The Torah then discusses afflictions coming out on a garment. It is here where this Parsha of Tazriah Ends.
Parashas Metzorah then continues with the Laws pertaining to the one with Tzaraas.HaShem prefers to give us opportunities to repent and thus sometimes first sends the Tzaraas to a person's Garment or even house.
Parashas Metzora starts by discussing the one who was contaminated and teaches exactly what is needed for purification.
After this, Tzaraas in houses comes in The Torah.Even though HaShem was Angry at Loshon Horah, HaShem Still gave us this Law as He Knew, that as soon as we might start to have our house cleared of Tzaraas in Canaan Israel, after we came into the land from Mitzrayim, which would sometimes include chipping away at walls, that we might find the hidden things the Canaanites left hidden in the walls , when we came to Canaan from Egypt. HaShem Again Showed His Over-abounding Kindness and Forgiveness.
Then the male discharge is discussed, all to do with purifying and purification. The Laws of Niddah are taught.and how offerings of purification are brought after the time .
This is where the Parsha ends.
The first Parsha that starts to discuss a woman after childbirth comes straight after the Parsha of Shemini , after the Tabernacle was Inaugurated.
It is only natural to start at the beginning of life at the birth of a child.
One has to wonder why the Birth of a child causes such impurity. The act of working with HaShem to bring a child into this world is a beautiful thing .So how can it need purification. Many believe it has to do with Adam and Chava and how Chava's punishment would be to bring children with pain, due to the Sin that was committed and thus childbirth now is touched with the first action of impurity. So since then, there is a part of impurity to childbirth that would not have been there had they not sinned.
Another aspect to this is the very action of conception itself. No matter how Holy the couple, there is always a slight amount of pure physicality in the action of conceiving a child and so, that , lessens the level of pure spiritual holiness, something that would not have been , had the action of Adam Ve Chava never happened, which brought in the Yetzer Horah. Was it not them that now realized they were 'Airom' - 'Naked,' ( where the Snake was 'Cunning ' - ' Arum,' beyond any creature of the field , for negativity was now brought in ) even though they were naked before, now they noticed they were physically naked, as the Yetzer Horah had physically been stirred. Before this, it would have been a totally spiritual action , even though it would have been done physically. This is what we are to work up to, for only holiness and spirituality to be in the physical action of conception.
The very fact that the Yetzer Horah was aroused, brought impurity to them and us.This impurity makes us need to work against the Yetzer Horah to subdue it.
One of the main areas we need to learn to control is the area of Loshon Horah ( slander ). This very area is the subject mainly that results in Tzaraas and a Metzorah needing purification, for as the slanderer, slanders others and thus isolates others, so is the slanderer isolated themselves during their time of Tzaraas. This too goes back to the sin in the Garden of Eden, for it was the snake , that tempted Chava, that Loshoned HaShem, and so, dust became its food and it had to walk lowly on the ground by slithering in and eating the dust, the perfect punishment to teach it humility (and against slander ) , for behind every Slander, is the feeling of personal arrogance. . The word 'Metzorah'- a 'leper' is very similar to the Hebrew word ' Metzoraf,' which means 'Attached and Added,' for once we slander someone, we attach to them something of our own making that actually isn't really how they really are, but is our own opinion , the way we see it. We are thus adding to HaShem's Creation Chas Ve Shalom of them and it is as if to say to HaShem, that we can do better Chas Ve Shalom . We Can't and never can HaShem Make all that is needed and there is nothing we should add to Creation in the way He Makes people or anything , for HaShem Knows all .So the Parshas of Tazria and Metzora, that discuss Impurities and how they result, is so very important, as we learn how deep, the sins we make , can go.
For when we make a physical wrong action, it hurts our soul , that HaShem gave us and the result, affects the physical body. I refer in this case to leprosy. The Biblical Leprosy, is not like the modern disease of Leprosy. This Tzaraas Leprosy was purely a physical manifestation of the spiritual harm Loshon Horah ends up to be.Thus the only cure, is spiritual and emotional atonement and a regret of slandering and our own fortitude, that the slander will stop.
The purification of a human being starts even with the Mother at birth, showing, that even though HaShem gives us life and a body to live that life in, HaShem Expects of us to complete the perfection, by working every day since birth, to purify the body and improve its holiness and morality every day, making each day a day to come closer to HaShem.
Adam and Chava, in the beginning were forced to leave the Garden of Eden because of slander by a snake , who had within it the angel Samael, who tempted Chava and Loshoned HaShem . This shows so clearly that when one Loshons, there are three people who are hurt, as was the case with the incident with the snake. The three are the one Loshoned ( in that case it was HaShem ) , the one who listens to the Loshon, Chava and the Adam , and finally , the one who Loshons ( in this case the Snake) .
HaShem Put the tongue behind two barriers - the lips and teeth , so we should be reminded to keep the tongue guarded and not to talk about others. How often people forget.
One of the things the World Stands on as it says in Pirkei Avoth is Peace. A person who Loshons, breaks peace between others and thus hits on one of the very things the World Stands on. A person who Loshons , breaks the stability of the World, by breaking 'Peace '- ' Shalom' between others and , by doing that , ends up breaking down the 'Shaleim,' - ( which means ' Completeness ' ) 'Completeness' of HaShem's Beautiful Creation.
Slander ruins lives and breaks the World. Keeping HaShem's Commandments and Mitzvos builds the World. That is what we are all here to do. Build and maintain HaShem's Creation into what HaShem Wants it to be.So let's all start now and help make Creation a gift to HaShem .
With Love to HaShem , I wish HaShem with Love, a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love, and to all , a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love.

Parashas Shemini
Our Parsha this Shabbos is Parashas Shemini. The Parsha starts with the Inauguration of the Tabernacle. The Seven days before this, Moshe had set up and taken down the Tabernacle, doing the service himself. Now the Eighth day had arrived , which was the 1st of Nisan 2449 , and now, the Tabernacle would be permanent and Aharon would be inaugurated into his position as Kohein Gadol and take over the duties. This was the Eighth day . HaShem Would fill the Tabernacle with His Shechinah.
The Parsha tells how Moshe had to Summon Aharon for the duty. Summon suggests a more definite approach, for Aharon in his humility and feelings of unworthiness due to his actions at the Chait Ha Eigel felt that he did not deserve this holy task but Moshe summoned him and told him that it was due to his ( Aharon's ) humility and feelings of not being worthy, that was why he deserved the position.A man who would be handling the Teshuvah and repentance of others, needs to be one who personally understands Teshuvah , and so Aharon, on this Eighth day took up his position as Kohein Gadol .We notice that Aharon's Sin Offering was to be an 'Eigel Ben Bakar' - 'a young bull,' in representation for the Chait Ha Eigel , for one who wants to help others atone, must first look at and atone for himself and purify himself first.
HaShem shows the offerings made at this Inauguration are accepted , for a fire came forth from HaShem and consumed what was on the Altar.
This day was to be a happy day for Aharon and his wife Elisheva, but tragedy struck, for their two sons Nadav and Avihu took it upon themselves to do what was not their task and brought an alien fire, that was not commanded , before HaShem, and they were both consumed by HaShem's Fire. We see that tragedy would come, from the very first word of this Parsha, for the word 'Vayehi,' - 'And it came to pass / And it was,' often in Torah shows a hardship to come. Such is the life of the Jew, at times of celebration, sometimes negativity comes to dampen it. Like the reason that we Jews break a glass at a mazaltov wedding. True happiness can only truly come in Mashiach's time with the coming of the Third Temple. Like Nadav and Avihu, who went beyond their state of obligation, and were really consumed with wanting to serve HaShem, we must each humbly know our level and respect HaShem's Choices. Just after this, HaShem Instructs that Intoxicants should not be taken while performing the Avodah, so our Rabbis assume this could have been one of the reasons for their passing.Aharon was silent , and within felt they (his sons) had been taken due to his actions at the Chait Ha Eigel, yet they had gone beyond their position of State and were thus guilty of that and a lack of humility. Our Haftorah has a similar theme , read from II Samuel 6:1 - 7:17 , where also Uzzah reaches out to catch the Ark and is consumed, when David was bringing the Ark to Jerusalem.
The Parsha continues with an issue discussed between Moshe and Aharon and continues with the Laws of Kashrus ,of permissible animals, fish and birds which leads to the end of the Parsha. Kashrus, keeps us Jews on a Holy path, making a separation from what is forbidden and keeps us from mixing into paths that we shouldn't mix with, remaining pure and keeping our Jewishness sacred and preventing us from losing our holy Jewish line. This is one reason for Kashrus. HaShem Has many deeper reasons, but Kashrus certainly keeps us from foreign ways that are not Jewish and protects our people to remain Jewish and not stray or be tempted to foreign ways and foreign relationships.Kashrus, separation, keeps us Jewish and keeps us on HaShem's Path .
The Inauguration takes place on the Eighth Day . The number Eight is a holy Number in Judaism. We are now counting The Omer , between Pesach and Shavuot, in which we count seven weeks of seven, and the day after that, the 50th day, the Eighth in representation , is the day we received the Holy Ten Commandments, the day HaShem Revealed Himself to the Children of Israel on Har Sinai . The Eighth day is a day of Revelation. Here , in this Parsha of 'Shemini,' - which means 'Eighth - on this Eighth Day, HaShem's Shechinah Inaugurated the Tabernacle .
Also as another example of another place where this 7 and 8 number comes in,HaShem Asks us to count Seven Sabbatical Years and the following year after the Seventh Sabbatical year , the Fiftieth Year is a Yovel Year, again the holiness of the number Eight.
HaShem Instructs that a Bris must be done on the Eighth Day, so again , that number Eight appears , when the Jewish child enters into the Covenant with HaShem .
The Number Eight is a very Holy Number. It represents HaShem. If we take HaShem's Name ' Yud' 'Key' Vav' 'Key' , it comes to 26 in Gematriah, which added up (2+6) , comes to 8 . Thus the Number Eight is linked with HaShem's Name and thus is the number of Revelation, the Number after 7( 7 being the number of Mashiach ),and thus the time that comes after Mashiach ( the number 8 ) is The End Of Days. A Time when HaShem Will Reveal Himself to us . A Time of Ultimate Love. It is interesting to note that the word 'Love' in Hebrew, is the Word 'Ahav,' which in Gematriah also comes to (1+5+2 ) totalling 8 . HaShem Gives us ultimate love , in everything HaShem Commands of us. His very Appearing to us, as He Did on this 'Shemini' - 'Eighth Day Inauguration,' was a total act of His love . Anytime He Has Appears to us , at this Inauguration, or at Har Sinai, it was a total Act of His Love. Thus , the Laws He Gives us , to Bring us to be close to Him and worthy, is a total act and offer of Love from Him .Our response must always be a total selfless Act of Love in return, by following Only Him and Keeping all His Laws .
The Seven Days before this Inauguration, like the seven weeks we count in the Omer , is our time of preparation . We must always make ourselves ready and better ourselves every day , so we can meet HaShem with return love. It is interesting to note, that when Adam Ve Chava left Gan Eiden, they spent their day outside the Garden, after being chased out just before the Shabbos (two hours before ), and they spent that day of Shabbos and after Shabbos on the Eighth Day after the beginning of Creation outside the Garden of Eden. It is deeply logical, that HaShem's Forgiveness would bring Creation to the End of Days, on that Eighth Day, a day of total forgiveness, as if Adam and Chava's Descendants , us, would carry on into that Eighth Day the right way they ( Adam Ve Chava ) would have, as if they had continued that Eighth Day in Gan Eiden . Thus it ( the End of Days )- that 'Spiritual Eighth Day' - will be the forgiveness of Adam Ve Chava .
Such is Creation, as our Rabbi said in Gemorah, that we are to be partners with HaShem in Creation, by keeping HaShem's Commandments. So must we do every day, so that we can be surrounded by HaShem as a partner, on the same path, ensuring that this World, gets to where it needs to go, with HaShem being given all of ourselves as partners with HaShem in Creation, so we can bring Creation to its fulfillment together with HaShem in the Final End of Days where HaShem Reveals Himself to us in total love.
With love to HaShem, I wish HaShem with Love a Sweet Shabbos Kodesh with love and to all, a sweet Shabbos Kodesh with love.

Shabbos Pesach Yam Suf
This Shabbos comes out on the last day of Pesach as we remember the day before how HaShem Split the Yam Suf for us and let us walk through on dry land. Each Tribe of Israel walked through on their own pathway so that the sea actually Split in 12 pathways for each Tribe. The ground Miraculously became hard so we could walk on dry ground. Each Tribe could see through the Wall on their side, to the next Tribe, to give them comfort. Also, if we wanted to drink water, all we had to do was stretch out our hand and drink purified drinking water and when we had our fill, the Wall returned as it was before.
So many Miracles did HaShem Do for us. So many Miracles, Does HaShem do for us every day, that we are not even aware of. HaShem Loves us beyond Love. May we all look around and start to notice the Beauty that is HaShem , and think always, how much we owe HaShem for all He Does for us that we see and especially for all that He Does for us that we don't see.
HaShem Asks of us so little for everything that He Does for us. Just to Keep His Laws. Let us all make an extreme effort to free ourselves from the Physicality and Keep HaShem's Torah and Laws and return to HaShem with love .
Wishing HaShem Always with Love, a very Beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with Love and Good Yom Tov for Pesach with Love and to all my fellow Yidden, a beautiful Shabbos Kodesh with love and Good Yom Tov for Pesach with love .
